Cable News Network
CNN filmed a multi-part environmental documentary of the entire SmartCells process, from the drive to collect 15,000 sneakers to the volunteer's finger painting a wood-like pattern onto the surface. This documentary was condensed into a full feature video that was aired worldwide.

National Public Radio
NPR recorded an interview on the SmartCells court with local basketball players and sports researchers. This documentary was also broadcast worldwide.

The Associated Press
Associated Press Television sent an interviewer to Puget Sound Christian College to film athletes playing on the SmartCells court. This interview was incorporated into a three-minute environmental documentary that was distributed to 150 networks worldwide, including CNN and BBC.

National Geographic
National Geographic Magazine featured the SmartCells court in the Earth Matters section, in both the English and Japanese language versions. This coverage included a photograph of a cross-section of the floor and a quote from an NBA player who evaluated the SmartCells court during a full team practice.

KING, KIRO, and KOMO Television Stations
KING TV has twice featured the SmartCells court at PSCC on its evening newscast, as well as being on featured on their Evening Magazine program. KIRO TV also aired a feature of the SmartCells court installation at PSCC.

Seattle P-I, Everett Herald, and Bellevue Journal American
These Seattle-area newspapers have all featured the SmartCells court in lengthy articles. Two of the Seattle P-I articles were featured on the front page of the sports section, and the Associated Press subsequently carried both.

Seattle Daily Journal of Commerce
The Seattle Daily Journal of Commerce published a lengthy article, which included photos of the first annual SmartCells Inter-Military Tournament. The article profiled SATECH's activities, including a presentation to the NBA Head Coaches Meeting.

BioCycle
BioCycle magazine published a lengthy article about the SmartCells surface. The article, which included photos of the sneaker recycling surface to market.
